#Define your Dash

Define your M&Ms

January 17, 2017

Have you ever sat through a less-than-stellar movie thinking it just has to get better than this - only to find it doesn't?  Humph.  "Well!  That's 2 hours I'll never get back!"  So true.  Those are called M&Ms - Mortal Minutes - and no one knows how many they get.

I have eight journals from 3 years of college, and I wish I had started sooner.  It was a time of great excitement, change and hope.  (No, I wasn't on a campaign trail.)  Every day was filled with anticipation and the years were so near to living in a dream world.  Writing those stories was a gift that kept on giving.  Will anyone else read them?  It's hard to say, but it's okay.

If you are fortunate enough to have stories written by your parents or ancestors, embrace them and share them!  Their hopes and dreams and their challenges and triumphs are part Your life is worth recording.  So make it a good one.of your DNA.  Don't leave your (grand) children wondering how their parents met and fell in love, what they were like as children, and what talents or hobbies they enjoyed.  How did you spend your M&M's?

Your life is worth recording, so make it a good one.  Begin now to "define your dash".  The time between life and death.  It's not the same for everyone . . . and neither are you.

"No one else can be yourself as well as you can."

We look forward to hearing about your experiences!

Thanks for stopping by . . . you're in good company.
