Crispy Ice Cream Dessert

When you want a raving good dessert, look no further!  This little delectable is full of texture and cool sweetness.  You only need a small serving, but you'll want more - just sayin'.


(Can be halved for an 8 x 8 pan if you don't trust yourself)

1 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups rice crispies
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

(1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream)

Mix the first 5 ingredients together.  Press 1/2 of mixture on the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.  Spread on top, the semi-melted, 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream.  Sprinkle the rest of mixture on top of the ice cream.

Cover and freeze.  Just before serving, top with mashed strawberries.
