One Dish Chicken and Veggies

July 14, 2017

Are you in a hurry and then have to take time out to prepare supper?  Well, this is just what you need.
I saw this recipe on Facebook a couple of years ago and tried it.  It's a winner.  You use one dish - stick it in the oven - and that's it.

In a 9x13 pan -

  • Cut 3 chicken breasts in half.  Place chicken in center of pan.
  • Add 2 cans green beans on one side.
  • Add cut up red skin potatoes one the other side.
  • Sprinkle a packet of dry Zesty Italian Dressing mix over the top.
  • Drizzle a stick of melted butter over it all.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Here it is ready for the oven.

After we had dug into it.

Add a side salad and you have a great meal.  I meant to take a picture of it when I took it out of the oven, but we were so hungry we just dug in and then I said, oh, no - but you get the picture, right?

Thanks for stopping by!  What's for your dinner?
