Create Hygge!

Have you heard of Hygge?  There's even an art to pronouncing the Danish word Hoo-gah or my preference Hue-guh.  It sounds like I'm putting more feeling and effort into something beautiful, less sounding like a native fireside chant.

However you pronounce it, there's no question as to what it is.  A noun, yet so perfectly described with adjectives.

What words come to mind when you see these images?  Are there common elements?  Do they speak to you?

Mr. B doesn't know it yet, but I have always wanted Hygge in my backyard.  All my Pinterest pins have this common theme.  I didn't know there was a word for it.  As we design our backyard, we will see if we can have a meeting of the minds - function vs feeling.
